Hero MotoCorp has introduced the Destini 110 Classique Edition in India ahead of the Diwali festive season. The new special edition is priced at Rs 76,400, ex-showroom Delhi. It brings updated styling and new dual-tone colour options to the company's 110cc family scooter range while retaining the existing engine and mechanical specifications.
The Classique Edition is based on the VX variant of the Hero Destini 110. It is positioned between the standard VX and the higher-spec ZX variant. The new edition costs Rs 1,400 more than the VX, which is priced at Rs 75,000. The top-end ZX variant is priced at Rs 83,800, ex-showroom. New Dual-Tone Colour Options
The main attraction of the Destini 110 Classique Edition is its updated exterior styling. Hero MotoCorp has introduced two dual-tone colour combinations to give the scooter a distinctive appearance.
The first option combines Matt Goldfish Silver with Light Industrial Grey and brown inner panels. The second option features Matt Aries Brown with black inner panels. These colour combinations give the scooter a different look compared with the regular Destini 110 variants.
The special edition also receives new stripe graphics on the front handle cover and side panels. Other styling additions include colour-coordinated mirrors, matching seat and inner panels, branded rim tape and an exclusive three-dimensional Classique Edition emblem.
The scooter retains the overall design of the existing Destini 110. The changes are primarily cosmetic and are intended to offer buyers a more distinctive option during the festive season.
Engine and Performance
The Hero Destini 110 Classique Edition continues to use the existing 110.9cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder petrol engine. It produces approximately 8.2hp at 7,250rpm and 8.7Nm of peak torque at 5,750rpm.
The engine is paired with an automatic CVT transmission, making the scooter suitable for everyday city commuting. Hero's i3S, or Idle Stop-Start System, is also retained. This technology switches off the engine when the scooter remains idle under suitable conditions and restarts it when the rider is ready to move, helping reduce unnecessary fuel consumption.
There are no announced changes to the engine, transmission or performance specifications in the Classique Edition. Buyers therefore get the same mechanical package as the existing Destini 110, with the main updates focused on appearance.
Comfort and Practical Features
The Destini 110 Classique Edition continues to offer features aimed at family users and daily commuters. One of its notable features is a 785mm-long seat, which Hero describes as the longest in its segment. The scooter also offers spacious legroom for the rider and passenger.
For storage, it gets a 19-litre under-seat compartment. A front storage area with a mobile charging facility provides additional convenience for everyday use. The scooter also features a boot lamp, which helps riders access the under-seat storage area in low-light conditions.
The model rides on 12-inch wheels at both ends and gets a wider 100/80-12 rear tyre. These features are carried over from the existing Destini 110 range.
Lighting and Instrument Console
The special edition retains the LED projector headlamp, LED tail lamp and LED position lamp. These lighting elements complement the scooter's updated exterior styling.
The instrument console combines digital and analogue elements to display essential riding information. Alloy wheels and chrome detailing are also part of the scooter's existing equipment package.
The overall feature list remains focused on convenience and everyday usability rather than introducing major new technology. The Classique Edition is mainly intended for customers who prefer its new colour combinations and special design details.
Price and Position in the Destini Range
The new Hero Destini 110 Classique Edition is priced at Rs 76,400, ex-showroom Delhi. It is based on the VX variant and costs Rs 1,400 more than the standard VX model. The higher-spec ZX variant remains available at Rs 83,800.
| Variant | Ex-showroom price |
| Destini 110 VX | Rs 75,000 |
| Destini 110 Classique Edition | Rs 76,400 |
| Destini 110 ZX | Rs 83,800 |
These are ex-showroom prices. The final on-road price may vary depending on the city, registration charges, insurance and other applicable costs.
Availability and Market Position
The Destini 110 Classique Edition expands Hero MotoCorp's scooter portfolio during the festive buying season. The company is offering the new edition to customers who want a different appearance without moving to a higher engine capacity or a more expensive scooter variant.
The Destini 110 is positioned as a family-oriented scooter for everyday travel. Its long seat, storage capacity, automatic transmission and practical equipment are intended to meet the needs of daily commuters and family users.
The Classique Edition does not bring major mechanical upgrades. Instead, it focuses on new colours, styling details and exclusive badging while retaining the familiar engine and convenience features. This gives customers another option within the existing Destini 110 range.
With its Rs 76,400 starting price, dual-tone styling and unchanged 110.9cc engine, the Hero Destini 110 Classique Edition adds a festive-season choice to the company's scooter lineup. Buyers can consider the VX, Classique Edition and ZX variants based on their preferred styling, features and budget.
