Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Unveiled at EICMA 2026, India Debut Expected in November
Royal Enfield has officially unveiled the Himalayan 750 adventure motorcycle at the EICMA 2026 exhibition in Milan, Italy. The new model represents a significant addition to the company's adventure touring range, bringing a larger parallel twin engine, upgraded suspension and several electronic rider assistance features. The motorcycle is expected to make its India debut at the Royal Enfield Motoverse event towards the end of November 2026.
The Himalayan 750 is among the most anticipated new motorcycles from Royal Enfield. It introduces a 743cc engine to the Himalayan family and is positioned above the existing Himalayan 450. With its combination of touring equipment, electronic technology and adventure focused hardware, the new motorcycle is aimed at riders looking for a larger capacity machine for long distance journeys and varied road conditions.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Engine and Performance
The Himalayan 750 is powered by a new 743cc air and oil cooled parallel twin engine. The engine produces 54.25 bhp at 7,000 rpm and generates a peak torque of 63 Nm at 5,000 rpm. It is paired with a six speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch.
According to the specifications reported at the unveiling, the engine delivers around 90 per cent of its peak torque from 3,500 rpm. This power delivery is intended to provide useful pulling power at lower and middle engine speeds, which can be beneficial during touring and when riding on challenging routes.
The parallel twin configuration also marks an important development for the Himalayan range, which has traditionally used single cylinder engines. The larger engine is expected to give the motorcycle greater performance capability for highway riding, overtaking and carrying luggage over longer distances.
Suspension, Brakes and Hardware
Royal Enfield has equipped the Himalayan 750 with premium suspension components from Showa. At the front, the motorcycle gets 43mm upside down forks with adjustments for preload, compression and rebound. The front suspension offers 190mm of travel.
At the rear, it uses a linkage type Showa monoshock with adjustable preload and rebound damping. The rear suspension offers 175mm of travel. These components are designed to support the motorcycle across different riding conditions, including highways, uneven roads and selected off road routes.
The motorcycle uses a 19 inch front wheel and a 17 inch rear wheel. It is equipped with tubeless tyres and is expected to be available with alloy wheel and tubeless spoke wheel options, depending on the variant.
For braking, the Himalayan 750 gets twin 280mm discs at the front and a 255mm disc at the rear. Its reported ground clearance is 205mm, while the seat height is 815mm. The motorcycle has a 17.8 litre fuel tank and a reported kerb weight of 224kg.
These specifications place the Himalayan 750 in the middleweight adventure touring category, with equipment intended to support both everyday riding and longer journeys.
TFT Display and Technology Features
One of the notable features of the new Himalayan 750 is its four inch circular TFT instrument display. The screen supports Bluetooth connectivity, navigation and phone and music controls. It is designed to provide riders with important information and connected features while travelling.
The motorcycle also gets multiple riding modes. The five available modes are Road, Road Sport, Rain, Trail and Custom. These modes adjust the engine mapping and the intervention levels of the braking and traction control systems to suit different riding conditions.
The electronic rider assistance package includes an inertial measurement unit based system, switchable cornering ABS and lean sensitive traction control. The traction control system offers four selectable levels. These features are intended to support rider control when road conditions or riding angles change.
Other equipment includes cruise control and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The motorcycle also features a new LED headlamp, self cancelling turn indicators, emergency brake lights and two Type C USB charging ports. One of the charging ports supports 27W fast charging.
The inclusion of these features gives the Himalayan 750 a more technology focused equipment package compared with earlier Himalayan models.
Colours and Touring Accessories
Royal Enfield has showcased the Himalayan 750 in five colour options. These are Antarctic Silver, Siberia White, Aztec Green, Viking Bronze and Tectonic Black.
The motorcycle is also shown with touring accessories intended for riders who plan to travel with additional luggage. The optional touring package includes a Givi top box, hard panniers with mounting hardware, heated grips, hand guards and an aluminium skid plate.
These accessories are expected to make the motorcycle more suitable for extended journeys. However, buyers may need to check which accessories are included as standard and which are offered separately when the company announces the India variant details.
India Debut Expected at Motoverse 2026
Following its international unveiling at EICMA, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 is expected to make its India debut at the company's Motoverse event in Goa towards the end of November 2026.
Royal Enfield has not yet officially announced the Indian market price or confirmed the complete launch schedule. The final pricing, variant details and availability information are expected to become clearer closer to the India debut.
The Himalayan 750 will enter a competitive middleweight adventure motorcycle segment. Its larger engine, adjustable suspension, touring equipment and electronic rider aids are likely to attract attention from riders considering an upgrade to a higher capacity motorcycle.
What Makes the Himalayan 750 Important for Royal Enfield
The Himalayan 750 is an important addition to Royal Enfield's motorcycle portfolio because it expands the Himalayan nameplate into the parallel twin category. The model combines the adventure touring identity of the Himalayan range with a larger engine and additional electronic features.
Its 743cc engine, six speed gearbox, Showa suspension and rider assistance systems are among the main highlights. The circular TFT display, cruise control and tyre pressure monitoring system also add features that are relevant to long distance touring.
While the international unveiling has confirmed several important specifications, the India pricing and final variant information remain awaited. More details are expected around the motorcycle's anticipated appearance at Motoverse later this month.
The Himalayan 750 is therefore one of Royal Enfield's key new motorcycle introductions for 2026. Its India debut will provide a clearer picture of how the company plans to position the model in the country's growing adventure touring market.
