Saudi Arabia's CEER has unveiled its first flagship electric vehicles, introducing the EXOBOT sedan and SUV as the company's entry into the premium electric vehicle market. The two models were revealed internationally on September 21, 2026, and represent a major step in CEER's plan to establish a Saudi based automotive manufacturing business.
The EXOBOT range is being offered in two body styles, a premium sedan and an SUV. Both models use a fully electric platform and share a similar design language, technology package and performance-focused approach. CEER says the vehicles will be manufactured at its CEER Manufacturing Complex in King Abdullah Economic City in Saudi Arabia.
The initial launch version is the limited EXOBOT First Edition. It is available in both sedan and SUV body styles and uses a tri motor all wheel drive powertrain. The First Edition produces 850 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. CEER says the sedan can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 2.6 seconds, while the SUV takes 2.9 seconds.
The sedan has a claimed driving range of up to 670 km, while the SUV has a claimed range of up to 560 km. These figures are based on the NEDC testing cycle. The actual driving range can vary depending on driving conditions, temperature, speed, road conditions and vehicle usage.
Both First Edition models use a 112 kWh battery pack and an 800V electrical architecture. CEER says the vehicles can charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in under 30 minutes using compatible fast charging equipment. The company has designed the electrical system to support high performance while also reducing charging times.
One of the most distinctive aspects of the EXOBOT is its exterior design. The sedan and SUV feature a futuristic wedge shaped profile with large glass areas and a relatively low front end. The vehicles also use large wing doors that open upward. According to Autocar India, the doors are nearly three metres long and open through an arc of around 60 centimetres.
The EXOBOT also uses a pillar less side profile. CEER says high strength materials have been used to provide the required structural support despite the absence of conventional pillars between the front and rear doors. The design gives the vehicles a distinctive appearance while creating a wide opening for passengers.
Another notable feature is the large windscreen. CEER claims that the EXOBOT uses the largest windscreen fitted to a private passenger vehicle. The laminated glass includes a reflective coating intended to reduce the amount of solar heat entering the cabin. This feature is particularly relevant to the hot climate in Saudi Arabia.
The interior has been designed around a technology focused layout. The EXOBOT features a large 48 inch curved Digital Horizon Display along with additional screens for other functions. The cabin also includes a 10.4 inch central display and an 8 inch rear display, according to reports on the vehicle's specifications.
CEER is also focusing on connected vehicle technology. The EXOBOT supports a digital ecosystem designed to allow owners to monitor and control selected vehicle functions through the company's application. The system can provide information related to charging and vehicle status, while additional connected features are designed to simplify ownership.
The vehicles also feature advanced chassis technologies, including steer by wire and rear wheel steering. These systems are intended to improve vehicle manoeuvrability and handling. The tri motor all wheel drive system provides independent electric motor control, allowing the vehicle to distribute power across the wheels according to driving requirements.
The First Edition has been designed as a limited launch specification. CEER offers it with exclusive exterior and interior details, including Harrat Grey and White Musk exterior finishes. The model also gets a black exterior colour package and red brake calipers.
Inside, the First Edition features red and black Nappa leather upholstery. The headrests receive First Edition branding, while special floor mats and other interior details are included as part of the limited specification. CEER says each First Edition vehicle will carry a unique numbered plaque linked to its vehicle identification number.
The EXOBOT is not limited to the 850 hp First Edition specification. CEER has also outlined a higher performance version of the range with output of up to 1,111 hp and 1,500 Nm of torque. This higher output version is separate from the launch First Edition specification, which produces 850 hp and 1,000 Nm.
CEER says the higher specification EXOBOT can deliver even quicker acceleration. However, customers should distinguish these figures from the specifications of the First Edition models that form the initial launch range.
The company was established in 2022 as a joint venture between Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund and Foxconn. CEER is part of Saudi Arabia's broader effort to develop a domestic automotive industry and diversify its economy under the Vision 2030 programme.
CEER plans to develop a larger vehicle portfolio in the coming years. The company says the EXOBOT is the beginning of a planned seven model range by 2030. Future vehicles are expected to include smaller models and different powertrain options.
Production of the EXOBOT is planned at the CEER Manufacturing Complex in King Abdullah Economic City. According to current reports, sales in Saudi Arabia are expected to begin in early 2027. The company is also planning to expand into surrounding markets from 2028, although specific markets and launch dates may vary.
CEER has not yet announced official pricing for the EXOBOT range. The company is positioning the sedan and SUV as premium electric vehicles, with the First Edition offering a limited specification and exclusive equipment.
The launch is significant for Saudi Arabia's automotive sector because the EXOBOT represents the country's move from plans for domestic vehicle production to the introduction of its first flagship production vehicles. The company is working with international suppliers and technology partners while developing manufacturing capabilities inside Saudi Arabia.
For buyers, the EXOBOT combines high electric power output with a large battery, fast charging technology and an unusual exterior design. The 850 hp First Edition provides up to 670 km of claimed NEDC range in sedan form and up to 560 km in the SUV. The higher performance version is expected to offer substantially greater power.
The EXOBOT will therefore be an important model to watch as CEER prepares for production and customer deliveries. Final specifications, pricing, market availability and homologation details may vary by market when the vehicles enter production.
