Farmers can check their status using a mobile phone or computer by entering basic details such as their registered mobile number Aadhaar number or bank account information.

The Government of India has released the 22nd instalment of financial assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme providing financial support to millions of farmers across the country. The latest instalment was announced by Narendra Modi during a public programme held in Guwahati.

Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme eligible farmers receive financial assistance from the central government in three instalments each year. Each instalment provides Rs 2000 which is transferred directly into the bank accounts of beneficiaries through the Direct Benefit Transfer system. This mechanism ensures that funds reach farmers without intermediaries.

The release of the 22nd instalment is expected to benefit a large number of farmers who are registered under the scheme. However recent updates in the beneficiary database have resulted in some names being removed from the list due to incomplete documentation or missing verification details.

One of the key requirements for receiving the benefit is the completion of electronic Know Your Customer verification commonly known as e KYC. The government has made this verification process mandatory to ensure that only eligible farmers receive the financial assistance. Farmers who have not completed the e KYC process may face delays or removal from the beneficiary list.

To help farmers confirm their eligibility the government has provided an online system that allows users to check their beneficiary status. Farmers can visit the official portal of the PM Kisan scheme and verify whether their names appear in the updated list of beneficiaries. The website also allows users to view the beneficiary list for their village or local area.

The process is designed to be simple and accessible. Farmers can check their status using a mobile phone or computer by entering basic details such as their registered mobile number Aadhaar number or bank account information. The portal then displays the payment status and other relevant information related to the scheme.

Officials have encouraged farmers to regularly verify their records on the website to ensure that their details remain accurate. If any discrepancies are found farmers are advised to contact local agriculture offices or update their information through authorised centres.

The PM Kisan scheme was introduced to provide financial support to small and marginal farmers across India. The programme aims to assist farmers in managing agricultural expenses such as purchasing seeds fertilisers and other essential inputs required for farming activities.

Since its launch the scheme has transferred substantial financial assistance to farmers through the Direct Benefit Transfer system. The use of digital platforms and Aadhaar based verification has helped improve transparency and reduce delays in the distribution of funds.

With the release of the 22nd instalment farmers across the country will once again receive direct financial support from the government. Authorities continue to emphasise the importance of completing e KYC and maintaining updated records to ensure uninterrupted benefits under the scheme.

Farmers who are unsure about their status are advised to check the beneficiary list online and confirm whether the latest payment has been credited to their bank accounts.
