The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board has released the schedule for Round 3 of the Undergraduate Medical Admission Counselling 2026, commonly referred to as UGMAC 2026. The counselling process is being conducted for eligible candidates seeking admission to undergraduate medical and related courses in Bihar.
According to the latest BCECEB notice dated September 30, 2026, the Round 3 registration and application cum choice filling process will begin on October 3, 2026. Eligible candidates will be able to complete the registration and application process until October 6, 2026, with the deadline for application submission set at 11:59 PM.
The Round 3 counselling process is based on the vacancies available after the earlier counselling rounds. BCECEB has also released an updated Round 3 seat matrix, allowing candidates to check the available seats before completing their choices. The counselling process covers admissions to undergraduate courses including MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. and A.H. and B.F.Sc., according to the published counselling information.
Candidates who are eligible to participate in the third round should carefully check the official schedule and counselling instructions before submitting their applications. The registration window is limited, making it important for candidates to complete the required online formalities within the specified dates.
The Round 3 registration process will start on October 3. Candidates will need to complete the required application details and submit their college and course preferences as part of the application cum choice filling process. Previously registered candidates may also have to provide the required consent or complete the applicable Round 3 procedure, depending on their status in the earlier rounds.
Candidates who participated in Round 1 or Round 2 and intend to resign or withdraw from their earlier seats have a separate window between October 1 and October 2, according to the published schedule. The applicable conditions, including those related to security deposits, should be checked in the official counselling notice.
The last date for Round 3 registration and application submission is October 6, 2026, up to 11:59 PM. Candidates should ensure that all required details are entered correctly before submitting the application. Any applicable payment and consent requirements should also be completed within the specified time.
Following the registration process, the Round 3 rank card is scheduled to be released on October 8, 2026. The rank card will form an important part of the next stage of the counselling process and candidates should check the official counselling portal for its availability.
The next major stage will be choice filling, editing and locking. According to the Round 3 schedule, candidates can complete this process until October 9, 2026, up to 11:59 PM. Candidates should review their selected colleges and courses carefully before locking their choices because seat allotment will be based on the applicable counselling rules, candidate rank, preferences and available seats.
The provisional Round 3 seat allotment result is scheduled to be released on October 14, 2026. Candidates who receive an allotment will need to follow the instructions issued by BCECEB for downloading the provisional seat allotment order and completing the subsequent admission process.
The provisional seat allotment order is scheduled to be available for download from October 14 to October 17. Document verification and admission are scheduled for October 16 and October 17, 2026. Candidates allotted seats should therefore make arrangements to complete the verification and admission formalities within the specified period.
The counselling process is particularly important for candidates who are seeking admission through Bihar's state counselling system after the earlier rounds. Available seats can change between counselling rounds because of seat allotments, withdrawals, resignations and other factors. The updated seat matrix released by BCECEB should therefore be checked before candidates finalise their choices.
Candidates should also keep their NEET UG related documents and other required certificates ready for the admission process. The exact documents and verification requirements should be confirmed from the official BCECEB instructions because requirements can vary according to the candidate category and course.
The official UGMAC 2026 webpage maintained by BCECEB carries the latest notices and details relating to the counselling process. The board has specifically listed the Round 3 notice and detailed instructions dated September 30, 2026, on its UGMAC 2026 notice board.
Candidates are advised to rely on the official BCECEB website for the final schedule and any subsequent changes. Counselling dates can be revised by the authorities, and candidates should check for updates before completing each stage of the process.
The Round 3 timeline provides candidates with several important dates to remember. Registration and application cum choice filling begin on October 3, registration closes on October 6, the rank card is scheduled for October 8, and choice filling, editing and locking close on October 9. The provisional seat allotment result is scheduled for October 14, followed by the download of the allotment order and document verification and admission.
With the Round 3 schedule now available, eligible NEET UG 2026 candidates can prepare their applications and preferences in accordance with the BCECEB guidelines. Candidates should carefully verify their eligibility, available seats, course preferences and required documents before submitting their applications.
