The Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB) has released its special cut-off list for admissions to the BA and BCom programmes for the 2024 academic session, with the admission process set to begin online from September 13, 2024. The cut-off list can be accessed on the official website of Delhi University, du.ac.in, once the direct link is activated for applicants.

The special cut-off list, published on September 12, provides detailed category-specific cut-offs for students across General, SC, ST, and OBC categories. These cut-offs vary depending on the college and course selected by the applicants. For example, Miranda House, one of the top colleges under Delhi University, has set its BCom cut-off at 82 percent for students in the General category. Meanwhile, OBC candidates require 76 percent, and SC candidates need 72 percent to secure admission to the same programme.

The BA cut-offs also follow a similar trend, with different percentages specified for various categories across participating colleges. NCWEB offers a unique opportunity for women residing in Delhi to pursue undergraduate degrees without the requirement of attending regular classes, allowing them to engage in part-time work or other commitments.

The admission process for these seats will begin on September 13 and is expected to follow a first-come, first-served basis, subject to meeting the specified cut-offs. The online admission portal will guide applicants through the necessary steps, from document submission to fee payment. Students are advised to regularly check the university’s website for updates and ensure that all required documents are ready for upload to avoid any delays in the process.

This special cut-off list offers another chance for students who may not have secured admission in the earlier lists. As NCWEB remains one of the most sought-after options for women seeking flexible education in Delhi, prospective students are encouraged to act quickly to secure their seats.
