The University of Delhi (DU) is set to close the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Round 2 seat acceptance window for undergraduate admissions today, July 27, 2026. Candidates who have received seat allotments are advised to complete the acceptance process before the deadline to secure their admission.

The CSAS portal is the official platform through which the University of Delhi conducts undergraduate admissions based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG). Through multiple rounds of seat allocation, eligible candidates are assigned seats in participating colleges and academic programmes according to their preferences, merit and seat availability.

Candidates allotted seats in Round 2 must log in to the official CSAS portal and confirm their acceptance within the stipulated time. Those who fail to accept the allotted seat before the deadline may lose their claim to the allocated programme, subject to the admission rules issued by the university.

After a candidate accepts the allotted seat, the concerned college verifies the submitted documents and eligibility details. Once the verification process is completed, candidates are required to pay the prescribed admission fee within the notified timeline to confirm their admission. Failure to complete fee payment may also lead to the cancellation of the allotted seat.

The university has advised applicants to regularly monitor the CSAS portal for updates regarding document verification, fee payment schedules, admission status and future counselling rounds. Candidates should ensure that all uploaded documents are accurate and meet the eligibility requirements specified by the university.

Delhi University conducts admissions through several rounds to fill vacant seats across its constituent colleges. Candidates who are not satisfied with their current allotment may be eligible to participate in subsequent admission rounds or upgrade options, subject to the university's admission policy and seat availability.

Admission authorities have also advised students to avoid waiting until the final hours to complete the acceptance process, as heavy traffic on the admission portal may lead to technical delays. Completing all formalities well before the deadline can help prevent last-minute issues.

Applicants are encouraged to read all official instructions carefully and retain copies of payment receipts, acknowledgement slips and admission documents for future reference. Any communication regarding admission should be verified only through official University of Delhi notifications.

The University of Delhi continues to conduct the admission process through an online and transparent system designed to simplify undergraduate admissions across its colleges. Students should continue checking the official website for announcements regarding future allocation rounds, vacant seats and admission schedules.

Candidates who have secured seats in the current round are advised to complete every stage of the admission process within the prescribed timeline to ensure successful enrolment for the 2026 academic session
