The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has officially commenced the Round 2 choice filling process for UP Polytechnic Counselling 2025. Candidates who have qualified in the JEECUP 2025 examination and are participating in the counselling process can now log in to the official website at jeecup.admissions.nic.in to complete their choice filling and locking.
JEECUP counselling is conducted in multiple rounds to allocate seats in government, aided, and private polytechnic institutes across Uttar Pradesh. The process ensures that candidates are offered seats based on their merit rank, category, and preferences filled during the choice selection phase.
Candidates eligible for Round 2 include those who did not get a seat in the previous round or those who wish to upgrade their allotted seat. Fresh candidates who completed registration and document verification for this round are also permitted to participate.
To complete the choice filling process, candidates need to log in using their application number and password, review the available institutions and courses, and submit their preferences in the order of priority. Once all choices are selected, candidates must lock their preferences to be considered for seat allotment. Choices that are not locked will not be considered during the allotment process.
It is important for candidates to thoroughly check the list of available colleges, branches, and seat matrices published on the official portal before submitting their options. Candidates should also refer to previous year cutoff ranks and available seats to make informed decisions.
After the choice filling window closes, the Round 2 seat allotment results will be published as per the schedule notified by JEECUP. Allotted candidates must then download the provisional allotment letter and proceed with the admission process, which includes paying the seat acceptance fee, uploading required documents, and reporting to the allotted institute.
Candidates who are satisfied with their Round 2 allotment can freeze their seat, while those seeking an upgrade can opt for float or slide options as per the guidelines. If a candidate fails to complete the admission process within the given timeframe, their allotted seat may be cancelled and they may be excluded from further rounds.
Documents required at the time of admission include the JEECUP 2025 rank card, admit card, Class 10 certificate or equivalent, caste certificate (if applicable), domicile certificate, and recent passport-size photographs. Candidates are also advised to carry valid photo ID proof.
JEECUP authorities have also provided a detailed counselling brochure on the official website for reference. Candidates facing any technical issues or queries can contact the helpline numbers listed on the portal.
Candidates should regularly visit the JEECUP admissions website to stay updated on counselling dates, allotment results, and instructions related to admission confirmation and further rounds.
