The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has issued the exam city slip for NEET SS 2025, enabling candidates to check the city in which they will be appearing for the upcoming Super Specialty entrance examination. The city slip is now available on the official website natboard.edu.in, and candidates can log in using their registered credentials to download it. This release marks an important step in the exam process, as it allows candidates to make necessary travel and accommodation arrangements well in advance.
The NEET SS examination is conducted every year for admission to various Super Specialty courses including DM and MCh programmes in accredited medical institutions across the country. With thousands of specialists aspiring for limited seats, NEET SS remains one of the most competitive examinations in the field of medical education. The release of the exam city slip gives candidates clarity regarding the location of their exam centre, although the exact venue details will be provided later in the admit card.
Candidates are advised to download the city slip at the earliest and thoroughly check all information printed on it. While the city slip does not serve as an admit card, it is an essential document that precedes the hall ticket. The admit card containing the date, time, and detailed address of the exam centre will be issued separately by the Board. The date for admit card release will be notified on the official website, and candidates are encouraged to monitor updates regularly.
To access the city slip, candidates must visit the official NBE website and navigate to the NEET SS section on the homepage. After entering their application number and password, the city slip will be displayed on the screen, which they can download and print for reference. In case of technical issues or discrepancies, candidates are advised to contact the helpdesk provided by the NBE.
The NEET SS 2025 examination will be conducted in computer based mode at designated centres across multiple cities in India. The exam pattern includes questions designed to assess advanced clinical knowledge required for Super Specialty training. As the exam date approaches, students are also encouraged to revise in accordance with the latest syllabus and exam structure prescribed by the Board.
Authorities have reminded candidates that allocation of cities is based on availability and preferences submitted during the application process. Once allotted, the exam city cannot be changed under most circumstances, except for rare cases which may be reviewed by the Board through official communication.
With the release of the city slip, candidates are now one step closer to the examination. They are urged to keep track of further announcements, ensure that their documents remain updated, and prepare thoroughly for the highly competitive test.
