Tamil Nadu's School Education Minister, Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, has announced that 3,000 new teachers will be appointed to government schools across the state. The decision comes as part of the government's efforts to address a significant backlog of teacher vacancies that were left unaddressed during the tenure of the previous AIADMK government.
In a statement released on Sunday, Minister Poyyamozhi highlighted the importance of filling these vacancies to improve the quality of education in government schools. He criticized the previous AIADMK government for neglecting to address the growing number of teacher vacancies over its 10-year rule, which he claims has affected the education system.
The government aims to reduce the teacher shortage and enhance educational opportunities for students in Tamil Nadu through this initiative.
