The Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG PGECET) 2025 Phase 2 counselling process is set to begin on August 1. The Telangana State Council of Higher Education TSCHE has released the official schedule for Phase 2, and candidates can now register and participate in the admission process through the official counselling website at tgeapcetd.nic.in.
The TG PGECET is a state-level entrance exam conducted annually for admission into postgraduate engineering technology and pharmacy courses in Telangana. Candidates who were not allotted seats in the first round or wish to upgrade their seats can participate in this phase. The Phase 2 counselling process is open to qualified candidates of TG PGECET 2025 and GATE or GPAT rank holders.
The registration and payment of the counselling fee will be open from August 1 to August 3. Candidates must upload scanned copies of required documents including academic certificates caste income residence and identity proofs by the same deadline. Verification of documents will be conducted online based on the uploaded documents.
Once the verification process is completed candidates will be allowed to exercise web options from August 4 to August 6. During this period applicants can select their preferred colleges and courses based on seat availability and their rank. The seat allotment results will be announced on August 8. Selected candidates must report to the allotted institutions and complete the admission formalities between August 9 and August 12.
Candidates are advised to carefully review the eligibility criteria before registering. Those who have already secured a seat in Phase 1 but wish to participate in Phase 2 must note that their earlier allotment will be cancelled if they are allotted a new seat. Therefore it is essential to make informed choices during the web option entry.
The official website also contains a list of participating colleges seat matrix counselling instructions and frequently asked questions. Candidates are encouraged to read the guidelines thoroughly to avoid errors or disqualification during the process.
TSCHE has advised candidates to ensure that they upload clear legible documents and complete all steps within the stipulated timeline. Any discrepancy in documents or incorrect information may result in the cancellation of candidature.
Counselling is a critical step in the admission process and students must stay updated on the latest notifications by visiting the official TG PGECET counselling portal regularly. Helpline numbers and support centres have also been set up to assist candidates with the registration and option entry process.
The TG PGECET 2025 counselling aims to provide fair and transparent admissions into prestigious institutions across Telangana. Candidates who perform well in this phase will have an opportunity to pursue advanced studies in engineering technology and pharmacy fields at state-run universities and affiliated colleges.
