The Ministry of Education has officially commenced the registration process for Yuva Sangam Phase VII under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative. Eligible youth between the ages of 18 and 30 years can apply online through the official EBSB portal until August 18, 2026.
Yuva Sangam is an important youth exchange programme launched under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative of the Government of India. The programme seeks to strengthen national integration by providing young people with opportunities to experience the diverse culture, heritage, traditions, languages, education systems, and developmental initiatives of different states and Union Territories.
The programme brings together participants from various parts of the country and enables them to travel to paired states under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat framework. Yuva Sangam focuses on five key areas commonly referred to as the Five Ps. These include tourism, tradition, progress, people to people connect, and technology. Through structured visits and interactive sessions, participants gain firsthand exposure to local customs, educational institutions, industries, innovation centres, historical landmarks, and community development initiatives.
The programme also offers participants the opportunity to interact with students, educators, entrepreneurs, local communities, government officials, and professionals from different regions of India. Officials believe that initiatives such as Yuva Sangam contribute significantly to strengthening the spirit of national unity while encouraging young citizens to appreciate India's rich cultural and linguistic diversity. Previous phases of Yuva Sangam witnessed participation from thousands of young people representing educational institutions, universities, vocational centres, and various professional backgrounds.
