The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a critical announcement for schools regarding the uploading of internal grades for Class 12 students as part of the 2024-25 examination cycle. According to the official notice, the CBSE portal for uploading internal marks has been made available from January 15, 2025, and will remain open until February 14, 2025. Schools are required to upload the internal grades, which include marks for practicals, projects, and internal assessments, for all eligible students in Class 12.
This step is part of the ongoing preparation for the upcoming CBSE Board examinations for the 2024-25 academic year. These internal grades will be used alongside the final board exam results to determine the overall performance of the students. The Board has emphasized the importance of completing the upload process within the designated timeframe to avoid any delays in the compilation of results.
The notice also highlighted that the CBSE Board exams for Class 10 and 12 will commence from February 15, 2025. Schools are expected to finalize the uploading of all internal assessments before the deadline to ensure that the students' academic records are updated and accurate for the board examination process. This move is in line with the CBSE's efforts to streamline and digitize the assessment process, making it more efficient and transparent.
The portal will be accessible to all affiliated schools, and the Board has urged them to ensure that the data uploaded is accurate and complete. This is a crucial step for the schools to contribute to the preparation of the final examination results, which will be announced after the completion of the board exams. Therefore, it is imperative that schools adhere to the deadline and submit the internal marks without fail to facilitate smooth and timely processing.
