The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has strengthened its unfair means policies ahead of the 2025 board exams, highlighting strict actions against students involved in any form of malpractice. If a student is caught cheating or engaging in prohibited activities, they may face the cancellation of their exams for one or all subjects, depending on the nature of the unfair means.
As the CBSE prepares to conduct the Class X and Class XII exams for approximately 44 lakh students across 204 subjects from February 15, 2025, it is crucial for students to follow all the examination guidelines to avoid penalties. Students should familiarize themselves with the UFM (Unfair Means) guidelines and the potential consequences for violating the rules.
It is essential for students to be aware of the dress code, permitted items, and prohibited materials that they should not bring into the examination hall, whether intentionally or by accident. Strict adherence to these rules will ensure a smooth and successful examination experience, safeguarding their academic future.
