The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has extended the registration deadline for TS LAWCET Counselling 2026, providing additional time for eligible candidates seeking admission to law programmes in participating colleges across Telangana. According to the revised schedule, candidates can now complete the online counselling registration process until July 28, 2026.
The extension is expected to benefit applicants who were unable to complete the registration process before the earlier deadline. Candidates are advised to use the additional time to finish registration, upload the required documents, pay the prescribed counselling fee, and verify all submitted information before the application window closes.
Along with extending the registration deadline, TSCHE has also announced that the web option entry process will be conducted from July 28 to July 31, 2026. During this stage, registered candidates will be able to select and prioritize their preferred colleges and law programmes based on their eligibility and admission preferences.
TS LAWCET is the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test conducted for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law courses offered by participating universities and affiliated colleges in the state. The examination serves as the gateway for admission to three year LLB, five year integrated LLB, and LLM programmes, depending on the eligibility criteria prescribed for each course.
The counselling process is an important stage of the admission procedure. Candidates must first complete online registration and certificate verification before participating in web option entry.
