The Bar Council of India has declared the much awaited results of the All India Bar Examination AIBE 20, bringing relief to thousands of law graduates across the country.

The Bar Council of India has declared the much awaited results of the All India Bar Examination AIBE 20, bringing relief to thousands of law graduates across the country. The exam was conducted on November 30, 2025 in a well organized manner. A total of 399 examination centres were arranged in 56 different cities of India to accommodate candidates from all states.

According to the Bar Council notification, 69.21 percent of the candidates who appeared for AIBE 20 have successfully cleared the test. This pass percentage reflects the overall performance of aspirants at the national level. The AIBE examination is an essential requirement for law graduates who wish to enroll as practicing advocates in India.

The Bar Council stated that candidates will be able to download their official scorecards very soon. These scorecards will contain individual marks, qualifying status, and other important details. The examination authority has asked students to regularly check the official AIBE portal for the activation of the download link.

AIBE 20 was conducted in offline mode across the country. The question paper tested basic legal knowledge and professional aptitude of law graduates. The exam was held in multiple languages to ensure accessibility for candidates from different regions of India. Security and monitoring arrangements were put in place at all 399 centres to maintain transparency.

With the result announcement completed, candidates are now waiting for their personal score verification. Many aspirants in India had expressed concerns regarding answer key and evaluation. The Bar Council assured that the final results were prepared after considering all valid objections and corrections submitted earlier.

AIBE is not a ranking-based competitive examination. It is a qualifying test aimed at assessing whether a law graduate possesses minimum standards to enter the legal profession. Once a candidate passes the exam, he or she becomes eligible to practice law anywhere in India.

The Bar Council pass percentage of 69.21 shows that a majority of the law graduates have met the required standards this year. Experts believe that the performance has improved compared to previous editions due to better preparation and awareness among candidates.

The AIBE 20 exam covered important legal subjects such as constitutional law, criminal law, civil procedure, and professional ethics. Candidates were allowed to carry bare acts to the examination hall as per Bar Council rules. This open book pattern is designed to evaluate practical understanding rather than rote learning.

Candidates who did not clear AIBE 20 this year will have the opportunity to reappear in the next session. The Bar Council conducts the exam periodically, and there is no limit on the number of attempts. Indian law graduates are encouraged not to lose confidence and continue their preparation.

The Bar Council of India has appreciated the cooperation of state authorities and examination partners for smooth conduct of AIBE 20. Arranging 399 centres across 56 cities was a major logistical exercise, and it was completed without major issues.

Overall, the release of AIBE 20 results marks an important milestone for Indian law graduates aiming to begin their professional journey as advocates. With scorecards to be issued soon, candidates can move ahead with enrollment and career planning. Aspirants must rely only on official Bar Council communication for any further updates regarding AIBE 20 documentation and certificates.

According to the Bar Council notification, 69.21 percent of the candidates who appeared for AIBE 20 have successfully cleared the test.
