The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to release the Class 10 and Class 12 board exam results for the academic year 2024–25. As per official updates, the results may be announced any time now. Once released, students can access their scorecards online through the official CBSE result portals – cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.gov.in.
The board examinations for both Class 10 and 12 were conducted between February and March 2025 across thousands of exam centres nationwide. Lakhs of students appeared for the exams this year, making the result announcement a much-anticipated event for students, parents, and schools alike.

CBSE will activate the result links on these portals as soon as the results are declared. Students should keep their admit card handy to enter the required login details: roll number, school number, and admit card ID. It is recommended that students avoid relying on third-party websites and use only the official portals for authentic and accurate results.
Steps to Check CBSE Class 10 and 12 Results:
Visit the official website – cbseresults.nic.in
Click on the respective link for Class 10 or Class 12 Result 2025.
Enter your roll number, school number, and admit card ID as mentioned in your admit card.
Click on the "Submit" button.

The mark sheets available online will be provisional. Students will have to collect their official mark sheets and pass certificates from their respective schools once the distribution process begins. These documents will be required for college admissions and other academic pursuits.
Performance Trends and Updates:
Initial reports suggest that the board has completed the evaluation process and compiled results. Last year, CBSE recorded a high pass percentage, with girls outperforming boys in both classes. It remains to be seen whether similar trends continue this year.
CBSE will also release the region-wise and school-wise performance data after the result declaration. The board will not publish a merit list to reduce unhealthy competition among students.
Re-evaluation and Compartment Exams:
Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation or verification of marks through the official CBSE website. The board will soon release the schedule for these processes. Students who fail in one or more subjects may be eligible to appear for compartment exams, expected to be held in July 2025.
As the result declaration is imminent, students are advised to stay calm and avoid false updates circulating on social media. CBSE will publish all official announcements through its website and verified press releases.
