The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is preparing to announce the results for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations conducted in 2025. According to sources and past trends, the results are expected to be released in the second week of May. While the board has not yet made any official announcement regarding the exact date and time, students and parents are advised to stay updated through the official websites.
Once the results are declared, students can access their marksheets through the CBSE’s official portals – cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, digilocker.gov.in, and the UMANG app. To download the marksheet, candidates must use their roll number, school number, and admit card ID as printed on their admit card.
The Class 10 and Class 12 board exams are critical for students as they determine future academic and career opportunities. With lakhs of students across India and abroad having appeared for these examinations, the CBSE has ensured that the evaluation process is thorough and transparent. Schools affiliated with CBSE are also informed in advance to make necessary preparations for distributing the marksheets to students.
This year, the CBSE implemented various measures to maintain the integrity of the exams and improve efficiency in the evaluation process. The board employed digital assessment systems and trained evaluators for consistency in marking. As a result, the declaration of results is expected to be timely despite the large volume of answer sheets.
Apart from checking marks online, students can also receive their results through SMS or email if they have registered for such services. Additionally, the results will be accessible via DigiLocker, where digital copies of marksheets and passing certificates will be made available. Students are encouraged to activate their DigiLocker accounts beforehand using their Aadhaar numbers to avoid last-minute delays.
In case of discrepancies in the marks or technical issues while downloading the results, students can reach out to their respective schools or the CBSE helpline. The board may also provide a window for re-evaluation or verification of marks for students who are not satisfied with their results. Information regarding this process will be published shortly after the declaration of the results.
The CBSE has advised students not to panic and refrain from believing in rumors or unofficial sources regarding the result dates. All updates will be shared through verified communication channels.
As the result day approaches, students are urged to stay calm, prepared, and focused on their next steps, whether that is applying for college, entrance exams, or other academic opportunities.
