FMGE December 2024 Result Announced: Check Details and Download Scorecards
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the results for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2024 session. The exam, conducted on January 12, 2025, is aimed at certifying foreign medical graduates. Candidates can now check their results on the official website, natboard.edu.in. The result PDF includes roll numbers, application IDs, marks out of 300, and pass or fail status. Individual scorecards will be available for download starting January 27, 2025.
To check the FMGE result, candidates must visit the official website and locate the result link under the ‘What’s New’ section. Upon clicking, the result PDF will open, allowing candidates to search for their roll numbers and verify their pass or fail status. It is recommended to save a copy of the PDF or print it for future reference.
The NBEMS has noted that a review of the December 2024 exam by subject matter experts identified one technically incorrect question. As a result, all candidates have been awarded full marks for this question. Qualified candidates will need to collect their pass certificates in person after undergoing identity and credential verification. Details regarding the schedule and venue for certificate distribution will be announced separately.
The FMGE December 2024 scorecard, however, is not valid for registration with any State Medical Council. Candidates are reminded to use the scorecard only for its intended purposes. The results of seven candidates have been withheld due to ongoing investigations by the NBEMS Examination Ethics Committee, which involve cases of unfair means, legal disputes, or pending security clearances.
Any instance of ineligibility or malpractice identified at any stage of the FMGE process will result in the cancellation of the candidate’s results and pass certificates, even if they have already been declared. Candidates are advised to check the NBEMS website regularly for updates on certificate distribution and other essential announcements. Congratulations to all the successful candidates!
