Detailed information and application forms for this process will be made available on the board’s website shortly.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has released the results for the Class 10 (Secondary School Certificate – SSC) and Class 12 (Higher Secondary Certificate – HSC) examinations for the academic year 2024–2025. Students who appeared for the board exams can now check their results by visiting the official website of the board — gseb.org.

The results were declared following the successful completion of the examinations held in March 2025. Lakhs of students from across the state appeared for the exams in both streams – General and Science. According to board officials, the evaluation process was completed on time, ensuring that students could receive their results without delay.

To check the result, students are required to enter their six-digit seat number on the result link available on the GSEB website. The scorecard will display subject-wise marks, overall grades, and the qualifying status of the student. Students are advised to download a digital copy of the provisional mark sheet and retain it until the official hard copy is issued by their respective schools.

As per initial reports, the overall pass percentage has shown a slight improvement compared to the previous academic year. In the HSC Science stream, students performed notably well in subjects like Physics and Chemistry, while in the General stream, Commerce students recorded higher success rates. In SSC results, the performance of rural schools was encouraging, with several districts recording pass percentages above the state average.

GSEB officials have also clarified that students who are not satisfied with their marks will have the option to apply for re-evaluation or rechecking of their answer scripts. Detailed information and application forms for this process will be made available on the board’s website shortly.

In addition, supplementary exams for students who were unable to pass in one or more subjects will be conducted in the coming months. The schedule for these exams, along with the registration dates, will be released soon by the board. Students are encouraged to prepare accordingly and make use of support resources provided by schools and the board.

The GSEB has also advised students and parents to rely only on the official website for result-related information and to avoid any third-party websites that may mislead or demand payment. Schools will soon begin the admission process for higher studies, and the results will play a crucial role in determining eligibility for various academic streams and institutions.

With the declaration of results, the board has successfully concluded the 2025 examination cycle. Students who have cleared the exams are now eligible to apply for further studies in universities, diploma programs, and vocational courses.

Students are advised to download a digital copy of the provisional mark sheet and retain it until the official hard copy is issued by their respective schools.
