The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially announced the NEET SS 2025 Round 1 counselling results. Aspirants who had registered and were eligible for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality (NEET SS) counselling process can now check their allotment status through the official website, mcc.nic.in.
The result is provided in the form of a PDF file, containing details such as serial number, rank, qualifying examination, allotted institute, course, and remarks, if any. Candidates are required to download this PDF and search for their rank to determine whether they have been successfully allotted a seat in the first round.
A total of 6035 candidates have secured seats in various super-speciality courses across the country in this round. The MCC has specified that candidates who have been allotted seats must report to their respective colleges between March 19 and 25 to complete the admission process. Failing to report within this timeframe may result in forfeiture of the allotted seat.
The NEET SS counselling process is conducted in multiple rounds to ensure fair and transparent allocation of seats in highly sought-after super-speciality courses. Round 1 results provide candidates with the opportunity to secure a seat in their preferred institution, while subsequent rounds allow those who did not secure a seat to participate in further allotments.
For candidates who have successfully been allotted a seat, the PDF result includes the following details:
- Serial Number (SNo): Unique number for each candidate
- Rank: Candidate’s merit rank in NEET SS 2025
- Qualifying Exam: Medical qualification through which the candidate is eligible
- Allotted Institute: Name of the medical college assigned
- Course: The super-speciality course allocated
- Remarks: Any additional instructions or information
Candidates are advised to carefully verify their details in the PDF and follow the reporting schedule strictly. Admission formalities generally include document verification, fee payment, and other college-specific procedures. It is important for candidates to ensure that all required documents, such as NEET SS scorecard, MBBS or MD/MS certificates, and identity proofs, are in order to avoid delays.
The MCC conducts NEET SS counselling annually to streamline admission to various super-speciality medical courses across India. This centralised counselling system aims to provide a transparent and merit-based process, ensuring that deserving candidates receive seats in accordance with their ranks and preferences.
Aspiring candidates can check the Round 1 allotment by visiting mcc.nic.in. Those who do not get a seat in this round can participate in the subsequent rounds of counselling, which provide another opportunity to secure admission.
With 6035 candidates successfully allotted seats in the first round, the NEET SS 2025 counselling process continues to play a crucial role in shaping the careers of super-speciality medical aspirants in India.
