The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to announce the revised scorecards for NEET UG 2024 today, July 26, on its official website. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had previously stated on July 23, 2024, that the revised final results for NEET UG 2024 would be available within two days. Candidates can check their updated results on the NTA’s official site at exams.nta.ac.in.
On July 23, the Supreme Court dismissed petitions seeking the cancellation and re-conduct of the NEET UG 2024 exam, finding no substantial evidence of systemic issues with the exam results. Although the court acknowledged incidents of question paper leaks in Hazaribagh and Patna, it concluded that these did not affect the overall integrity of the results. The court also noted that there was no systemic breach in the examination process.
The Supreme Court has directed the NTA to release the revised merit list, which will incorporate recommendations from an expert committee at IIT Delhi. This committee’s review is related to a contentious physics question that has caused confusion and affected the scores and rankings of numerous students.
