The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has issued a firm directive to all schools across the state, instructing them to upload students’ internal assessment marks on the official education portal no later than April 7, 2025. This order is part of an initiative to streamline academic evaluation and ensure timely processing of board exam results.
The instruction applies to Classes 9 through 12, covering all government, aided, and private schools affiliated with the UP Board. Internal assessment marks include scores from practical examinations, project work, class tests, and attendance records, depending on the subject.
Key Highlights of the Directive:
Deadline: April 7, 2025
Applies to: Classes 9–12 across UPMSP-affiliated schools
Mode of Submission: Online through the UPMSP portal
Responsibility: School principals and exam coordinators
District education officers have been assigned to monitor the status of submissions and assist schools with any technical difficulties. Schools have been asked to maintain accuracy while entering student details and marks, as discrepancies could result in delays in final result preparation.
Non-Compliance May Lead to Action
Officials have cautioned that non-submission or incorrect uploading of marks may lead to administrative delays or even disciplinary action against responsible school authorities. The move aims to bring uniformity and transparency in the assessment process ahead of the declaration of UP Board results.
Push Towards Digitization in Education
This initiative is also in line with the state’s broader mission to adopt digital tools in academic administration, promoting efficiency and reducing manual errors. Schools are urged to comply within the deadline to avoid any negative impact on student academic records.
With this mandate, the UP government reiterates its commitment to fair, timely, and tech-enabled education governance.
