The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 admit card shortly for the upcoming exams scheduled on February 7 and 8. Candidates appearing for the CTET are advised to regularly check the official website, ctet.nic.in, for the latest updates and notifications regarding the admit card release.
Following the pattern of previous years, CTET admit cards are typically released two to three days prior to the exam. This year, candidates can expect the admit card to be available either today or at the latest by tomorrow, allowing them sufficient time to download and verify their details before the examination.
To access the CTET 2026 admit card, candidates need their application number and date of birth. Upon successful login, the hall ticket can be downloaded and printed. The admit card will include essential information such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam centre address, date and timing of the exam, and guidelines to be followed on the day of the test. Candidates are advised to check all the details carefully and report any discrepancies to CBSE immediately.
The CTET is a crucial examination for aspiring teachers in India and serves as a mandatory qualification for teaching positions in central government schools and many private institutions. Conducted in two shifts each day, the February 7 and 8 examinations will assess candidates’ knowledge and teaching aptitude across subjects relevant to primary and upper primary classes.
Candidates should ensure they carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the examination centre. Late entry or absence of the admit card will lead to disqualification from appearing in the exam. It is also recommended to read all instructions mentioned on the admit card regarding prohibited items, reporting time, and seating arrangements.
With thousands of candidates expected to appear for the CTET 2026, CBSE has made provisions for smooth and hassle-free exam conduct. Candidates should remain updated with any announcements or changes communicated through the official website or notice boards.
The CTET admit card is not only an entry pass but also an important document for verification during the counselling and recruitment process for teaching jobs. Hence, candidates should download, print, and preserve it safely for future reference.
