Google’s artificial intelligence platform, Gemini, has now introduced free practice tests for JEE Main aspirants, following the successful rollout of SAT preparation tests earlier this week. This expansion reflects Google’s growing commitment to supporting students with AI-powered educational tools that provide accessible, high-quality preparation materials across competitive exams.
Times Now Digital explored Gemini’s offerings and found that while NEET UG and CBSE board exam practice tests are still in development, the JEE Main practice tests are fully functional and ready for use. Students can access the tests by simply typing “JEE Main prep test” into Gemini’s dialogue box and pressing enter. The platform then generates a comprehensive practice test covering Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, the three core subjects of the examination.
According to Gemini, the tests are designed to help students assess their current preparation levels by testing core concepts, problem-solving abilities, and speed. Each practice session provides feedback on performance, highlighting areas of strength and topics requiring additional focus. This allows students to create a personalized preparation plan and track their progress over time, a feature that is particularly useful for those preparing independently or without access to formal coaching.
The Gemini AI also ensures that the test questions reflect the format and difficulty of the actual JEE Main exams. By simulating real exam conditions, the platform aims to reduce exam anxiety and help students gain confidence in their problem-solving skills. In addition, the AI provides hints and explanations for complex questions, offering students the opportunity to learn from mistakes and reinforce their understanding of critical concepts.
While NEET UG and CBSE board exam practice tests are not yet fully available, Google’s initiative indicates that these may follow soon, making Gemini a comprehensive platform for multiple exam preparations. For now, JEE Main aspirants have a powerful tool that complements traditional study methods, coaching classes, and textbooks, making preparation more interactive and efficient.
Educational experts have welcomed this move, highlighting the potential of AI tools like Gemini to democratize access to high-quality learning resources. “Providing free, tailored practice tests can be a game-changer for students who do not have access to expensive coaching centers,” said a senior educator in New Delhi. “It allows learners to identify gaps in understanding and prepare strategically, which is crucial for exams like JEE Main.”
In a competitive landscape where entrance exam preparation is often stressful and resource-intensive, Google Gemini’s free JEE Main practice tests provide students with a convenient, AI-driven solution that can complement their ongoing studies. With feedback mechanisms, detailed explanations, and adaptive learning features, the platform aims to make exam preparation more personalized, effective, and accessible to students across India.
