The CSEET will evaluate students on four key subjects: Business Communication, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, Economic and Business Environment, and Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will conduct the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) on January 11, 2025, and has arranged a mock test today, January 8, 2025, to help candidates prepare for the exam. The mock test is designed to familiarize students with the remote proctoring process, which will be used for the actual exam. All candidates who have registered for the CSEET can appear for the mock test, and their login credentials (User ID and Password) will be sent to them via email or SMS.

As per the official notification, the mock test will be held for a duration of 2 hours. Candidates are required to log in 30 minutes before the scheduled time to ensure everything is set up correctly. The mock test will simulate the actual exam environment, giving students a chance to get accustomed to the technical aspects and remote proctoring.

Candidates must download the Safe Exam Browser (SEB) before the mock test and exam, as it is a mandatory requirement to participate. The SEB must be installed on the laptop or desktop from which the student will appear for the test. The downloading process can be accessed through the official ICSI website at this link.

The CSEET will evaluate students on four key subjects: Business Communication, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, Economic and Business Environment, and Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude. The exam will be conducted in remote proctored mode, allowing students to take the test from anywhere in India under online supervision.

To qualify for the CSEET, candidates must secure an aggregate score of 50%, with a minimum of 40% in each subject. Importantly, there is no negative marking in the exam. Candidates should also note that the use of calculators, pens/pencils, paper, or notebooks is prohibited during the test.

The CS qualification, upon successful completion of the entrance exam and subsequent stages, is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as equivalent to a postgraduate degree.

All candidates who have registered for the CSEET can appear for the mock test, and their login credentials (User ID and Password) will be sent to them via email or SMS.
