In a significant update for students preparing for JEE Advanced 2025, the Joint Admission Board (JAB) has reversed its previous decision and announced the restoration of two attempts for candidates. This decision has been welcomed by aspiring candidates, as it provides them with another opportunity to appear for the exam if they are unable to take the first attempt due to unforeseen circumstances.
Earlier, JAB had reduced the number of attempts for JEE Advanced to one, which caused concern among students. However, following discussions and feedback from various stakeholders, the board has now reinstated the original policy of allowing two attempts, giving students a better chance to secure a spot in prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
This update brings relief to many candidates who were unsure about their preparation or had faced challenges in the past year. With the exam date approaching, students are advised to stay focused on their studies and take full advantage of the opportunity to appear for JEE Advanced twice.
The official notification regarding this decision is expected to be released soon on the JEE Advanced website, detailing the revised guidelines and any other relevant changes. Students are urged to stay updated through official channels for further instructions.
