Students who appeared for the MHT CET 2025 entrance examination can check their results by visiting the official website cetcell.mahacet.org.
The MHT CET final merit list is a crucial step in the admission process for undergraduate engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture courses in Maharashtra. Based on this merit list, candidates will proceed to the next phase of counselling, where they can fill in their preferred choices of colleges and courses.
To check the merit list, candidates must log in to the portal using their registered credentials, such as application number and date of birth. The list will display important information including the candidate’s name, application ID, category, rank, and marks obtained. Students are advised to carefully review their rank and cross-verify the details for any discrepancies.
The final merit list is prepared after the consideration of all valid objections submitted during the provisional list phase. It is based on the normalized scores of the candidates and includes reservations and category-based allotments as per the guidelines of the Government of Maharashtra.
Following the release of the final merit list, the next phase is the Centralized Admission Process or CAP. In this phase, candidates must register their options for colleges and courses online. The CAP rounds will be held in stages, and seat allotment will be done based on merit rank, category, and the availability of seats.
Candidates who receive an allotment will have to report to their respective institutions for document verification and admission confirmation. It is important to note that if a candidate fails to confirm the allotted seat in the specified time, the seat will be forfeited and may be offered in subsequent rounds.
The MHT CET is one of the most significant entrance examinations in Maharashtra, conducted for admission to technical education courses. The results and merit list are highly anticipated by thousands of students each year.
Candidates should ensure they regularly visit the official website for the latest updates regarding CAP schedule, choice filling dates, seat allotment results, and reporting instructions.
