The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has officially opened the registration process for MHT CET 2026 and MAH MBA CET 2026, providing aspirants an opportunity to apply for undergraduate and postgraduate professional courses offered across the state. Candidates can complete their applications online through the CET Cell’s official portal, with the last date for submission set as February 12, 2026.

MHT CET is conducted for admission to engineering, pharmacy, and allied degree programmes in Maharashtra. Students seeking entry into Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, and Bachelor of Pharmacy courses must qualify through this examination. MAH MBA CET, on the other hand, is held for admission to Master of Business Administration and management-related postgraduate programmes in state-affiliated institutions.

According to the official schedule, candidates must first register using a valid email address and mobile number. After registration, applicants are required to fill in personal details, academic information, and select the preferred examination group. Uploading scanned copies of photographs and signatures as per prescribed specifications is mandatory. The final step involves payment of the application fee through online modes such as debit card, credit card, or net banking.

The CET Cell has advised candidates to carefully review eligibility criteria before applying. For MHT CET, students must have completed or be appearing in Class 12 with the required subject combinations. For MAH MBA CET, applicants must hold a recognised bachelor’s degree with the minimum qualifying marks as specified in the information brochure.

Once the registration window closes, candidates will be given a limited period to make corrections to their application forms. Admit cards are expected to be released a few weeks before the examinations, and candidates must carry them along with valid photo identification to the examination centre.

The MHT CET and MAH MBA CET exams play a crucial role in determining admissions to government, aided, and private colleges across Maharashtra. Given the high competition, candidates are encouraged to follow the official timetable closely and prepare accordingly. Authorities have also reminded applicants to rely only on official notifications for updates regarding exam dates, result announcements, and counselling schedules.

With the registration process now underway, students aiming for professional courses in Maharashtra are advised to complete their applications early to avoid last-minute technical issues. Regular monitoring of the official website will help candidates stay informed about any changes in the examination schedule or guidelines.
