The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially scheduled the NEET MDS 2025 exam for January 31, 2025. Candidates who wish to apply for the exam can access the application form and information brochure on the official NBEMS website at natboard.edu.in.
Application Fee
As per the latest updates, the application fee for the NEET MDS 2025 is ₹3,500 for candidates from the general category. For candidates belonging to the SC, ST, or PWD categories, the application fee is ₹2,500.
Seats Available
The NEET MDS 2025 exam will offer approximately 6,228 Master's in Dental Surgery (MDS) seats across 259 dental institutions in India. These seats will be allocated through a mix of 50% All India Quota and 50% State Quota seats. The seats will be available in deemed universities, central universities, ESIC institutions, and private dental colleges.
NEET MDS 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates wishing to appear for the NEET MDS 2025 exam must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
Applicants must have a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a recognized institution in India. - Registration Requirement:
Candidates must have provisional or permanent registration with the State Dental Council (SDC) or Dental Council of India (DCI) by June 30, 2025. - Internship Completion:
Candidates must complete their one-year mandatory rotatory internship by June 30, 2025, for the academic year in which they seek admission.
Admission to the MDS program will be based on the performance in the NEET MDS 2025 exam. The eligibility requirements are determined by the Dental Council of India (DCI), in consultation with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).

Apart from NEET MDS 2025, the NBEMS has also announced the dates for several other important medical exams for 2025. These include:

- DNB Post Diploma Centralized Entrance Test (PDCET) 2025: February 23, 2025.
