The Railway Recruitment Board has officially announced an extension of the last date to apply for the RRB NTPC 2025 Graduate Level Recruitment. This update comes as a relief to thousands of aspiring candidates who were requesting additional time to complete the registration process. The revised schedule has now been published on the official RRB regional websites, along with detailed application guidelines.
The RRB NTPC examination is one of the most sought after recruitment processes in India, offering stable and prestigious government jobs in the Indian Railways. The Graduate Level NTPC recruitment includes posts such as Traffic Assistant, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Goods Guard, Commercial Apprentice, Station Master, and Senior Time Keeper. Each role carries distinct responsibilities across railway operations, administration, and customer services.
According to the revised notification, the application deadline has been extended to provide candidates more time for form submission, fee payment, and document uploads. This decision was taken to accommodate applicants who faced technical issues, banking delays, or other difficulties during the earlier deadline. The board has also updated its schedule for application scrutiny, correction windows, and tentative exam dates.
The RRB has reiterated that all candidates must strictly follow the eligibility criteria to avoid disqualification during document verification. For most Graduate Level posts, candidates must hold a bachelors degree from a recognised university. Age limits, relaxations, and reservation benefits will be applied as per government rules. The notification advises candidates to read the revised schedule thoroughly before proceeding with the application process.
The selection procedure for RRB NTPC 2025 will be conducted in multiple stages, including CBT 1, CBT 2, typing skill tests or aptitude tests for specific posts, document verification, and final medical examinations. The revised schedule will also impact the tentative exam timeline, which is expected to be shared after the completion of the application process.
Candidates are advised to ensure that all information entered in their application forms is accurate and supported with valid documents. Any mismatch may lead to rejection during the verification stage. The Railway Recruitment Board has urged applicants to rely only on official websites for updates to avoid misinformation circulating on unofficial platforms.
The extension of the application deadline is expected to increase the number of registrations significantly, as RRB NTPC remains a highly competitive recruitment. Aspirants are encouraged to utilise the additional time for preparation, as the exam pattern includes subjects such as general awareness, mathematics, general intelligence, and reasoning.
With the revised timeline now in effect, candidates are requested to track official notifications regularly. The RRB is expected to release further updates regarding admit cards, exam centres, and post wise vacancy details in the coming weeks. The extended schedule aims to provide a smoother application experience and ensure wider participation from applicants across the country.
