With the exam date approaching, candidates are encouraged to keep their registration details handy, monitor their respective RRB regional websites regularly, and ensure that all personal details on the admit card are accurate once released.

The Railway Recruitment Board has confirmed that the RRB NTPC Undergraduate CBT 2 examination will be held on December 20 across multiple centres in the country. This exam is the second stage of the recruitment process for candidates who have applied for various undergraduate-level posts under Non-Technical Popular Categories. Only those candidates who successfully cleared the first stage of the Computer Based Test are eligible to appear for CBT 2.

As part of the standard examination process, the RRB will first release the city intimation slip, which informs candidates about the name of the city where their examination centre is located. This slip is usually made available several days before the admit card so that candidates can make necessary travel arrangements in advance. While the exact date for the release of the city slip has not been officially confirmed, it is expected to be issued around 10 days before the examination.

Following this, the RRB NTPC CBT 2 admit card will be released on the official regional RRB websites. The admit card is a mandatory document for entry into the examination hall and will contain important details such as the exam date, reporting time, exact exam centre address, and candidate information. Candidates must download and print the admit card and carry it along with a valid photo identity proof on the day of the examination.

The CBT 2 examination is a crucial stage in the NTPC selection process. It tests candidates on subjects such as General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The level of difficulty is higher compared to CBT 1, and the cut-off marks tend to be more competitive. Performance in this stage plays a key role in shortlisting candidates for further stages such as document verification and medical examination.

Candidates have been advised by the Railway Recruitment Board to rely only on official RRB websites for information and avoid unverified sources or social media rumours. Any changes in the schedule, examination guidelines, or admit card release dates will be notified only through the official portals.

Preparations for the exam are currently in full swing, with candidates revising core subjects and solving mock tests to improve speed and accuracy. Experts suggest focusing on time management and accuracy, as each section carries equal importance in determining the final merit.

With the exam date approaching, candidates are encouraged to keep their registration details handy, monitor their respective RRB regional websites regularly, and ensure that all personal details on the admit card are accurate once released. Any discrepancies should be reported immediately to the concerned RRB office for correction.

Only those candidates who successfully cleared the first stage of the Computer Based Test are eligible to appear for CBT 2.
