The city slip has been made available on the regional websites of the respective Railway Recruitment Boards.

The Railway Recruitment Boards have issued the exam city slip for the RRB NTPC CBT 2 examination under the 2025 recruitment cycle. This marks an important update for lakhs of candidates preparing for the next stage of the Non Technical Popular Categories exam. The release of the city slip allows candidates to know the city in which their examination centre will be located, enabling them to plan travel and accommodation well in advance.

The city slip has been made available on the regional websites of the respective Railway Recruitment Boards. Candidates must log in using their registration number and date of birth to access the document. While the city slip does not function as the admit card, it is an essential pre exam document that helps candidates make logistical arrangements, particularly those who may need to travel long distances for the test.

According to the RRBs, the official admit card for the CBT 2 exam will be issued separately. Typically, the admit card is released four days prior to the exam date. The hall ticket includes crucial details such as the exact address of the examination centre, reporting time, exam session, and candidate instructions. Aspirants are advised to keep an eye on their respective RRB portal to download the admit card as soon as it becomes available.

To check the city slip, candidates need to visit the official RRB regional website, click on the NTPC CBT 2 city slip link, and log in with their credentials. After downloading the slip, candidates should verify the details printed on it, including the exam city, registration number, and personal information. In case of any discrepancy, they must contact the concerned RRB at the earliest for clarification.

The NTPC exam is being conducted to fill various positions across Indian Railways, including clerk, typist, traffic assistant, goods guard, and junior accounts assistant. The CBT 2 stage is crucial, as it evaluates candidates based on subjects such as general awareness, mathematics, and general intelligence and reasoning. Performance in CBT 2 plays a significant role in determining eligibility for subsequent stages such as typing tests or document verification, depending on the post applied for.

RRBs have also advised candidates to thoroughly review the guidelines mentioned in the admit card once released. These include instructions on items allowed and prohibited inside the examination hall, reporting requirements, COVID era precautions where applicable, and identity verification procedures. Candidates must carry the printed admit card, a valid photo identification proof, and any additional documents specified by the RRB to the examination centre.

With the issuance of the city slip, candidates now have greater clarity as they prepare for the upcoming exam. Aspirants are encouraged to focus on their revision while keeping track of updates from the RRB portal. The release of the admit card is expected soon, marking the final stage of preparation before the examination day.
