The Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur, has officially released the provisional answer key for the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2026. The answer key was made available on January 9 through the official XAT website, xatonline.in. Candidates who appeared for the national-level management entrance examination can now review their responses and estimate their potential scores.
The release of the answer key marks an important stage in the XAT 2026 examination process. By comparing their marked answers with the officially released solutions, candidates can get a preliminary idea of their performance before the declaration of the final results. The answer key includes correct responses for all sections of the examination.
Alongside the answer key, XLRI has also activated the objection window. This allows candidates to raise concerns if they believe that any answer provided in the provisional key is incorrect. The objection window is expected to remain open for two to three days from the date of release. Candidates are advised to carefully review the answer key within this period to avoid missing the deadline.
To raise an objection, candidates must log in to the official website using their XAT credentials. Each objection must be supported with a valid explanation or reference, and a processing fee must be paid for every question challenged. XLRI has clarified that objections without proper justification may not be considered.
After the objection window closes, the examination authority will review all the challenges submitted by candidates. If any discrepancies are found to be valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly. Based on the final answer key, XLRI will then prepare and announce the XAT 2026 results.
The XAT examination is one of the most important management entrance tests in India and is accepted by XLRI and several other leading business schools across the country. Thousands of candidates appear for the exam every year, competing for admission to MBA and management-related programmes.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the official XAT website for further updates regarding the final answer key, result announcement, and subsequent admission processes. Any information related to cut-offs, scorecards, or counselling schedules will be notified only through official channels.
