New Delhi, August 4, 2025
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially activated the correction window for the SSC MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff) and Havaldar 2025 recruitment process. Candidates who have registered and submitted their applications can now log in to the SSC portal at ssc.gov.in and make corrections to their submitted forms if required.
The correction window is a one-time facility provided by the Commission to help applicants rectify any errors or discrepancies in their application forms. This step is crucial to ensure eligibility and accuracy of candidate details, as incorrect information may lead to disqualification at a later stage of the recruitment process.
According to the official notification, candidates can edit various personal and academic details such as name, date of birth, category, gender, communication address, educational qualifications, and photograph or signature if they were uploaded incorrectly. However, not all fields may be editable, and some details such as Aadhaar number may be restricted from changes. It is advised that applicants carefully review the instructions provided on the correction portal before proceeding.
The correction window will remain open for a limited time. Candidates must make the necessary changes within the stipulated period, after which no further requests for changes will be entertained. The final date for corrections has been mentioned on the SSC website. After the correction period ends, the Commission will process applications for the next phase of recruitment which includes admit card issuance and examination scheduling.
To access the correction form, candidates need to log in using their registered ID and password on the SSC official website. Once logged in, the option for “Application Correction” will be available on the dashboard. After submitting the corrections, it is recommended to save and print a copy of the updated application form for future reference.
The SSC MTS and Havaldar 2025 recruitment exam is one of the major national-level examinations conducted to recruit eligible candidates for various posts under the Government of India. The competition is expected to be intense, with lakhs of candidates applying for limited vacancies across ministries and departments.
Candidates are advised to use this correction opportunity wisely and ensure that their details match their official documents. Any mismatch in name, date of birth, or category information may lead to rejection of candidature during document verification or result declaration stages.
The Staff Selection Commission has urged all candidates to keep checking the official SSC website for further updates related to the examination schedule, admit card download, and important announcements. This correction window marks the final opportunity to correct any mistakes and ensure eligibility for the upcoming SSC MTS Havaldar recruitment exam.
