According to reports citing IANS, Shrivastav said he watched the episode from a hotel room in Mumbai on the evening of September 22, 2026. The episode featured actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, actor and YouTuber Bhuvan Bam, casting director Mukesh Chhabra, stand-up comedian Kaustubh Agarwal and host Samay Raina. The episode had premiered on September 18 on Netflix and YouTube.
According to the complaint, Chhabra was allegedly heard making a sexually suggestive statement during the episode. The complainant described the alleged language as inappropriate and objectionable and requested that the matter be investigated.
Importantly, the complaint itself reportedly acknowledges that the allegation requires verification. It states that the authenticity of the alleged statement, the identity of the person who made it, the full context and the exact timestamp should be checked against the original and unedited recording. Therefore, the alleged remark should not be treated as an independently established fact at this stage.
