Hanuman Ansh has continued its impressive theatrical performance during its seventh week, with the film recording a significant jump in box office collections on Day 45.
The Vishal Chaturvedi directorial collected Rs 13.75 crore net in India on Sunday, September 20, according to box office figures reported by trade tracking sources. The Day 45 collection represented a 41 percent increase compared with the previous day's Rs 9.75 crore net collection.
With the latest addition, Hanuman Ansh has reached an India net collection of Rs 271.88 crore. Its India gross collection has reached Rs 321.05 crore. The film also continued to earn from overseas markets, adding Rs 1.50 crore on Day 45. Its cumulative overseas gross has reached Rs 26 crore.
Combining its domestic and international earnings, Hanuman Ansh currently stands at a reported worldwide gross of Rs 347.05 crore. This leaves the film approximately Rs 2.95 crore short of the Rs 350 crore worldwide milestone.
The latest weekend performance has been particularly notable because the film is already in its seventh week in theatres. On Friday, Day 43, the movie collected Rs 5 crore net in India. The figure increased to Rs 9.75 crore on Saturday before reaching Rs 13.75 crore on Sunday.
The three day seventh weekend therefore contributed Rs 28.50 crore to the film's domestic net total. The Sunday collection came from 7,628 shows across India, according to the reported box office figures.
The film's performance has also been supported by its ability to regain screens after facing competition from newer releases. Earlier in its theatrical run, Hanuman Ansh reportedly saw its screen count fall significantly following the arrival of other films. However, as its audience response strengthened, the film gradually regained screening space.
