US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor undertook a two day visit to Manipur and held meetings with Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh and Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla in Imphal, with discussions focusing on tourism, development and opportunities for greater cooperation.
Gor met Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Mantripukhri, Imphal, on September 11. According to reports, the discussions covered ways to promote tourism and development in Manipur and explored areas where greater cooperation could contribute to economic growth in the northeastern state.
