Uttarakhand Police have arrested suspended Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee employee Pramod Nautiyal in connection with the ongoing investigation into the alleged theft and financial irregularities involving donations at Badrinath Dham.
According to police officials, Nautiyal was taken into custody as part of the investigation after preliminary findings indicated his alleged involvement in the case. Following his arrest, he was taken to Badrinath for further questioning to assist investigators in gathering additional information related to the alleged misappropriation of temple donations.
Officials stated that after the interrogation process is completed, the accused will be produced before the appropriate court in accordance with legal procedures. The police have not disclosed further details regarding the evidence collected so far, as the investigation remains active.
