Ayodhya:
Ayodhya witnessed a massive spiritual gathering on the occasion of Bada Mangal, as thousands of devotees arrived to offer prayers at the historic Siddha Peeth Hanuman Garhi temple. The event, observed every Tuesday in the Hindu month of Jyeshtha, holds special significance for devotees of Lord Hanuman. The temple premises were packed with pilgrims from various parts of the country, who participated in special poojas, bhajans, and religious offerings.
Security arrangements were heightened by local authorities to manage the large influx of devotees. Volunteers and temple staff coordinated the rituals and ensured smooth movement within the temple grounds. Several religious organizations also conducted community food offerings (Bhandaras) throughout the city, feeding thousands of visitors as part of the auspicious observance.
Simultaneously, the Ram Janmabhoomi complex in Ayodhya is buzzing with preparations for another significant spiritual milestone. The Ram Temple complex has been beautifully decorated and illuminated with vibrant lights as it gears up for the consecration of 14 idols across 8 different temples located within the grand premises. These idols represent key figures and deities connected to the life and history of Lord Ram.
According to temple officials, the consecration ceremony will be conducted by a group of 108 learned Vedic scholars, ensuring that the process aligns with ancient religious customs and Vedic rituals. The rituals will include chanting of mantras, homams (sacred fire rituals), and purification rites before the idols are formally installed and worshipped. This event marks another important step in the ongoing development of the Ram Temple complex following the Pran Pratishtha of the main idol earlier this year.
Devotees visiting Ayodhya during this time are not only witnessing Bada Mangal celebrations but are also experiencing the spiritual and cultural grandeur surrounding the Ram Temple complex. Local markets, ashrams, and religious centers are abuzz with activity. Temporary shelters, water distribution centers, and medical aid points have been set up to assist pilgrims.
Spiritual leaders and religious scholars have emphasized the importance of these parallel events in reinforcing Ayodhya's cultural and religious identity. They highlighted that the simultaneous observance of Bada Mangal and the upcoming idol consecration reflects the deep spiritual roots of Ayodhya and the growing significance of the Ram Temple as a national pilgrimage center.
As the city of Ayodhya continues to draw increasing numbers of pilgrims and tourists, the local administration, temple trust, and various religious bodies are working closely to manage the spiritual events while maintaining order and cleanliness.
The coming days are expected to bring even larger crowds as devotees prepare to witness the grand idol installation ceremony, turning Ayodhya into a vibrant hub of faith, tradition, and unity.
