Spirited Away, the critically acclaimed 2001 anime by Studio Ghibli, is celebrated for its stunning animation, immersive storytelling, and unforgettable characters. One such character is No Face, the enigmatic figure that plays a central role in the film’s narrative. Though No Face is mostly silent, its journey of self-discovery adds depth to the story, creating an air of mystery that captivates audiences.
One of No Face’s most notable traits is its ability to create gold, a feature that becomes apparent as it showers nuggets of gold throughout the bathhouse during its rampage. This unique aspect of the character has made No Face a fan favorite, and it also ties into a special new Studio Ghibli product: the Spirited Away Paper Music Box.
