Real Madrid’s burgeoning star, Endrick, has once again demonstrated why he is considered one of the most exciting young talents in football. The Brazilian forward has etched his name into the annals of the club’s history by becoming their youngest-ever goalscorer in the UEFA Champions League. This remarkable achievement came during Real Madrid's 3-1 victory over Stuttgart in their opening match of the 2024/25 Champions League season.

In a game that was closely contested, Endrick made his mark in the dying moments, coming off the bench to deliver a decisive blow. With the scoreline at 2-1 in favor of Madrid, Endrick seized his opportunity in the 95th minute, scoring a spectacular long-range goal that showcased his exceptional composure and striking ability. Positioned on the edge of the box during a swift counter-attack, Endrick received the ball while flanked by Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior. Displaying remarkable confidence, he unleashed a powerful left-footed shot that beat Stuttgart's goalkeeper, Alexander Nubel, and sealed the victory. At just 18 years and 58 days old, Endrick surpassed the previous record held by Real Madrid legend Raul, who was 18 years and 113 days old when he scored his first Champions League goal in 1995.

Endrick’s achievement in the Champions League adds to his already impressive list of record-breaking performances. Earlier this season, he set another milestone by becoming the youngest foreign player to score for Real Madrid in La Liga. On his league debut against Real Valladolid, Endrick made an immediate impact by scoring just ten minutes after coming on as a substitute. He netted a goal in the 96th minute, securing a 2-0 victory for Los Blancos. At 18 years and 35 days old, he broke the previous record held by French defender Raphael Varane.

Endrick’s back-to-back record-breaking performances have not only electrified the Santiago Bernabeu crowd but have also sparked excitement about his future at the club. His exceptional talent, maturity, and ability to perform under pressure at such a young age highlight why he is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in world football. As Real Madrid looks to build on their success, Endrick’s contributions will be pivotal, and his continued development could play a significant role in the club’s future triumphs.
