Curry’s contribution was key to the Warriors matching the best record in the Western Conference, tying with the Thunder and the Phoenix Suns at 8-2.

The Golden State Warriors secured a hard-fought 127-116 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, with Stephen Curry delivering a brilliant performance, scoring 36 points. Curry’s contribution was key to the Warriors matching the best record in the Western Conference, tying with the Thunder and the Phoenix Suns at 8-2. The Warriors, known for their three-point shooting, made 21 successful three-pointers, with Curry accounting for seven of those. The game saw significant contributions from Jonathan Kuminga, who came off the bench to score 20 points, and De'Anthony Melton, who added 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

Although the Thunder trailed by as much as 30 points in the third quarter, they mounted a strong comeback attempt but ultimately fell short. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led Oklahoma City with 24 points but struggled with his shooting, hitting only 6 of his 17 attempts. Jalen Williams also had a solid outing, contributing 20 points with an impressive 9 of 15 shooting performance. Despite the deficit, the Thunder showed resilience, but the Warriors controlled the game, especially in the second quarter, where they turned the momentum in their favor.

In another exciting game, the Sacramento Kings defeated the Phoenix Suns 122-118 in overtime, snapping the Suns' seven-game winning streak. DeMar DeRozan was the star for the Kings, scoring a season-high 34 points, including key baskets during the overtime period. De'Aaron Fox also made a significant impact, scoring eight of his 21 points in overtime to help the Kings seal the win. Sacramento's Domantas Sabonis and Keegan Murray were also instrumental in the victory, contributing with solid performances on both ends of the floor.

The Suns, who were without their star player Kevin Durant due to injury and Jusuf Nurkic for the second half, struggled to hold onto their lead. Despite Tyus Jones stepping up with 22 points and solid contributions from Bradley Beal and Devin Booker, Phoenix couldn't contain Sacramento’s late-game surge. The Suns’ inability to close out the game in regulation led to their first loss after a dominant streak.

Meanwhile, in Denver, the Nuggets secured a narrow victory over the Dallas Mavericks, with Michael Porter Jr. hitting a clutch jumper late in the game. Nikola Jokić, as usual, was spectacular, recording another triple-double with 18 points, 14 rebounds, and 13 assists. Jokić continues to showcase his all-around brilliance, making a huge impact on both ends of the floor. On the Mavericks' side, Kyrie Irving had a standout performance, but despite his 29 points, he missed crucial shots in the final moments, leaving the Mavericks to fall short.

These exciting games highlighted the depth and competitiveness in the Western Conference, with the Warriors and Kings continuing their strong starts to the season and teams like the Suns and Mavericks battling through challenges.
