With just a few days remaining until the official unveiling of Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event, a major leak has provided insights into the new features and specs of the upcoming phones. A report from the Portuguese tech site Tecnoblog reveals that the Galaxy S25 will bring several AI-powered features, most notably deep integration with Google Gemini.
The upcoming devices will be capable of executing tasks using the "Hey, Gemini" voice command, allowing users to interact seamlessly with the AI. For instance, users can extract text from a YouTube video and automatically copy it to the Samsung Notes app with a single command.
A new feature called "Now Brief" is also expected to be introduced, offering personalized daily summaries that include weather updates, suggestions for using phone features, a quick recap of the photos taken during the day, and more.
In terms of hardware, the Galaxy S25 Plus will be equipped with a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide sensor, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature four rear cameras: a 200MP primary shooter, a 50MP ultrawide sensor, a 10MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom.
Battery-wise, the Galaxy S25 Plus will come with a 4,900mAh battery, while the S25 Ultra will house a slightly larger 5,000mAh battery. The design of the S25 Ultra also appears to have evolved, with slightly curvier edges compared to its predecessor.
Samsung is expected to announce the full details of the Galaxy S25 series on January 22. Pricing for the Galaxy S25 Ultra is speculated to be between Rs 1,20,000 and Rs 1,30,000, with potential discounts through bank offers. While the prices for the other two models remain unknown, the S25 Ultra is sure to draw attention with its impressive specs.
