Google is once again making headlines with the upcoming launch of its highly anticipated Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro smartphones. With the Pixel 9 series still fresh in the market, leaks surrounding the Pixel 10 lineup suggest that Google is aiming to push the boundaries of design, performance, and software integration with its next flagship series. Expected to arrive in the final quarter of 2025, the Pixel 10 series is generating significant buzz in the tech community.
According to reports from reliable industry insiders, both the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro will feature a more polished and symmetrical design compared to previous generations. The rear panel is expected to retain the signature horizontal camera visor but with slimmer bezels and a flatter overall build. Early renders indicate that Google may introduce at least four color options, including classic Black, Porcelain White, Mint Green, and a new Rose Pink variant.
The most notable changes will likely be seen in the internal hardware. The Pixel 10 series is expected to be powered by Google’s custom-built Tensor G4 chip, focusing on improved AI processing, battery efficiency, and overall system performance. RAM options may include 12GB for the base model and up to 16GB for the Pro variant, with storage ranging from 128GB to 512GB.
On the display front, the Pixel 10 may come with a 6.3-inch OLED screen, while the Pixel 10 Pro is likely to feature a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED panel with up to 120Hz refresh rate. Both displays are expected to offer QHD+ resolution, HDR support, and under-display fingerprint scanners.
Camera performance has always been a cornerstone of Google’s Pixel lineup, and the Pixel 10 series will be no different. The Pixel 10 Pro may include a triple-lens setup with a 50MP main sensor, 48MP ultra-wide, and a 48MP telephoto lens with up to 5x optical zoom. The base model could feature a dual-camera system with similar sensor quality but without the telephoto lens. Enhanced computational photography, Night Sight, and improved Magic Editor features are also expected.
Battery life is expected to see modest improvements, with the Pixel 10 Pro housing a 5000mAh battery and support for 30W wired and 23W wireless charging. Google is also likely to emphasize sustainability, with both devices made using recycled materials.
Software will be another major highlight. The Pixel 10 series will launch with Android 15 and will come with exclusive AI features such as upgraded Assistant with Bard, advanced live translation, and on-device generative capabilities. Google may also promise at least seven years of Android and security updates, continuing its push toward long-term support.
In terms of pricing, the Pixel 10 could start at approximately ₹70,000 in India, while the Pixel 10 Pro may retail above ₹95,000, aligning with premium competitors like Samsung Galaxy S25 and iPhone 16.
Google is expected to officially unveil the Pixel 10 lineup at its Made by Google event in October 2025. Indian availability will likely follow shortly after the global launch.
