Google is set to unveil its next-generation flagship smartphones, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL, on August 20. As anticipation builds among tech enthusiasts and Android users, expectations are high for both models to feature cutting-edge technology, enhanced performance, and superior design. This launch marks Google's ongoing effort to strengthen its presence in the Indian premium smartphone segment.
In terms of pricing, early reports suggest that the Pixel 10 Pro could be priced starting at around ₹89,999, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL may carry a higher price tag, possibly starting above ₹1,00,000. Google is likely to position both devices competitively against flagship offerings from Samsung, Apple, and OnePlus in the Indian market.
The Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL will differ primarily in terms of size and battery capacity. The Pixel 10 Pro is expected to feature a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display, while the Pro XL might offer a larger 6.9-inch display with improved brightness and refresh rate. Both models are expected to support adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz for smoother performance and better battery efficiency.
Design-wise, the Pixel 10 series is likely to follow the signature Pixel aesthetic but with subtle refinements. Leaked renders and prototype images suggest a more curved body with a sleeker camera bar at the back. Materials such as polished aluminium and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 are likely to be used for a more premium feel. Colour options may include Obsidian Black, Snow White, and a new limited-edition Emerald Green.
Camera upgrades are also expected to be a major highlight. The Pixel 10 Pro series may come equipped with a triple-lens setup, featuring a 50 MP main sensor, a 48 MP periscope telephoto lens with up to 5x optical zoom, and an ultra-wide sensor. Google’s software-driven computational photography will continue to be a key differentiator, with improvements in low-light performance, real tone technology, and cinematic video stabilization.
Under the hood, both devices are expected to be powered by the new Tensor G4 chip, co-developed with Samsung. The new chipset is said to offer better efficiency, improved AI processing, and enhanced security features with the next-generation Titan M security module. The devices will likely ship with Android 15 out of the box and guarantee software updates for at least five years.
On the connectivity front, users can expect support for 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, and ultra-wideband (UWB). Battery capacities could range between 5000 to 5300 mAh with support for 30W wired and 23W wireless charging.
As Google prepares for the official launch, pre-order details and offers are expected to be announced soon on Flipkart, the company’s exclusive online partner in India. With the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL, Google aims to offer a flagship experience tailored to Indian consumers looking for performance, premium design, and dependable software.
Stay tuned for more updates on August 20 as Google officially lifts the curtain on its most advanced smartphones to date.
