The Google Pixel 9, known for its stellar camera capabilities and smooth Android experience, has received a major price cut on Flipkart, sparking excitement among tech enthusiasts and smartphone buyers. Initially launched with a premium price tag, the Pixel 9 can now be purchased for less than ₹44,000 — a rare deal for a flagship device from Google.
Current Price and Offers:
On Flipkart, the Pixel 9 is currently listed at a discounted price of around ₹52,999. However, this price can be further reduced through various bank offers, including an instant discount of ₹5,000 on select credit card transactions. Additionally, Flipkart is offering an exchange bonus of up to ₹5,000 on eligible old smartphones. Combining both offers, buyers can bring down the effective cost of the Pixel 9 to nearly ₹43,000–₹44,000.
Why It’s a Great Deal:
At this price point, the Pixel 9 becomes one of the most affordable flagship phones in the Indian market, offering features that are typically reserved for high-end devices. The smartphone is powered by Google’s in-house Tensor G2 chip, which ensures seamless performance, better AI integration, and reliable software updates for years.
Key Features of Google Pixel 9:
Display: 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate
Processor: Google Tensor G2 chipset
Camera: Dual rear camera setup (50MP + 12MP ultra-wide), 10.8MP front camera
Battery: 4700mAh with 30W fast charging
Software: Android 14 with guaranteed updates for up to 5 years
Photography lovers will particularly appreciate the Pixel 9’s ability to capture natural-looking shots with great dynamic range, thanks to Google’s computational photography prowess. The Night Sight, Magic Eraser, and Real Tone features further enhance the experience for everyday users.
What to Keep in Mind:
Despite the attractive price, users should note that the Pixel 9 does not include a charger in the box, and its battery life, while sufficient, may not outperform some competitors. Additionally, Google’s limited service centers in certain parts of India could be a consideration for some buyers.
Final Verdict:
With a substantial price cut and bundled offers, the Google Pixel 9 is now one of the most value-for-money premium smartphones available in India. Whether you're a photography enthusiast, a stock Android fan, or simply someone eyeing a flagship device under ₹45,000 — this deal on Flipkart is worth exploring.
