HMD has officially launched the HMD Arc smartphone, which follows closely in design and specifications to the previously rumored HMD Aura device. The HMD Arc, which was recently spotted on certification websites like Geekbench and TDRA, confirms its specs with its official unveiling.
The HMD Arc runs on Android 14 Go OS, designed for lower-end devices to deliver a smooth and optimized experience. HMD promises two years of security updates for the device. In terms of hardware, the smartphone includes Bluetooth 5.2, a USB-C port for charging and data transfer, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Security features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and the device also comes with a single speaker and microphone setup. In terms of durability, the phone offers an IP52 or IP54 rating, depending on the market, making it resistant to water and dust.
The HMD Arc measures 166.4×76.9×8.95mm and weighs 185.4g, making it a compact and lightweight option. While the official pricing and availability details are not yet released, the HMD Arc is already listed on the company’s website, confirming the spec details.
