HMD is gearing up for the launch of its HMD Skyline smartphone in India, following its recent global release. This new device, which also saw the introduction of a Blue Topaz variant last month, is set to make its debut in the Indian market. The official teaser suggests that the Indian version will mirror the specifications of its global counterpart.
The HMD Skyline is equipped with a 6.55-inch pOLED display that boasts a high 144Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 1000 nits, and a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3, ensuring durability. Under the hood, it runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, complemented by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the camera setup, which includes a 108MP main sensor, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens. For selfies, the front camera is a 50MP shooter. The smartphone is powered by a 4,600mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. Additionally, it will soon feature a Detox Mode, allowing users to temporarily disable social media and other applications to reduce screen time.
