Honor, the popular Chinese consumer electronics brand, is set to launch its highly anticipated tablet, the Honor Pad V9, on December 16, 2024, in China, coinciding with the release of its new GT phone. The company has shared live images of the device, which is already listed on the official website for pre-reservation. The tablet comes with the tagline "It’s lighter, it’s AI," highlighting its focus on advanced features and artificial intelligence.
The Honor Pad V9 will be available in three color variants: Jade Dragon Snow (White), Mountain Ash (Grey), and Lu Yan Zi (Purple). It will be offered in four storage configurations: 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB, with only Wi-Fi versions available. The device promises an immersive experience with a quad speaker system, ensuring high-quality sound with two speakers at the top and two at the bottom, optimized for landscape use. The tablet also boasts a USB Type-C charging port, a power button at the top, and a volume rocker on the right side.
In terms of design, the Honor Pad V9 resembles an Apple iPad with a flat display and thick bezels. A front-facing camera is positioned centrally in the bezel for optimal angles during selfies or video conferences. At the rear, there are two circular camera units, with the main camera housed in the first unit and an LED flashlight and "AI camera" marking in the second. The rear panel features Honor branding, along with an "IMAX Enhanced" engraving, indicating the device's focus on superior audio-visual quality for a premium entertainment experience.
Honor is offering a CNY 500 coupon and freebies (Life Gift Pack + White Honor Classic USB Type-C Earphones) for customers who pre-reserve the tablet. An exchange benefit of up to CNY 600 is also available. With only two days remaining before the official launch, excitement continues to build for the Honor Pad V9, which promises to deliver a premium tablet experience with AI capabilities and a sleek design.
